Competition Team Program
At Neighborhood School of Dance, our Competition Team Program is designed for dancers who are ready to take their training, performance quality, and commitment to the next level—all while building confidence, teamwork, and lifelong memories.
We offer a supportive, organized, and positive competitive experience that focuses on growth, discipline, and fun.

Hip Hop
Junior Team (Ages 9–13)
Contemporary
All competition dancers will also perform in our Team Production Dance, which is included as part of the program at no additional cost.
✨ Elite Solo Program (Optional)
Dancers looking for additional performance opportunities may enroll in our Elite Solo Program.
This program provides focused, one-on-one coaching to help dancers grow technically and artistically while preparing for solo competition performances.
Includes:
2 private lessons per month
Personalized coaching and feedback
Ongoing performance development
Investment: $65/month
Duets/Trios: $45/month per dancer (2 shared lessons per month)

One-Time Competition Registration Fee
$165 per dancer
Includes:
Team jacket
Teacher hotel accommodations
Administrative and planning costs
Participation in the Team Production Dance
Monthly Team Tuition
1 Team: $75/month
2 Teams: $125/month
3 Teams: $150/month
Covers:
Weekly rehearsals

Competition Entry Fees
Competition entry fees are paid separately and vary by event and routine.
🎟 Fundraising
We offer optional fundraising opportunities throughout the season to help offset competition-related expenses.
All funds raised are applied directly to your dancer’s account as a studio credit, which can be used toward tuition, competition fees, costumes, or other program expenses.
Families may choose to participate in fundraising opportunities or opt for a $150 fundraising buyout.
Please note: Fundraising credits have no cash value and are non-transferable.

Competition Team Fundraising Program (2026–2027 Season)
At Neighborhood School of Dance, we offer a variety of fundraising opportunities throughout the season to help families offset competition-related expenses.
Our fundraising program is designed to be flexible, accessible, and easy to participate in, with both ongoing and monthly opportunities available. Families may choose to participate in as many fundraisers as they’d like.
🥩 Ongoing Fundraiser
Beefstick Sales (September–May)
Dancers may sell beefsticks throughout the entire season at their own pace.
This is a simple and consistent way to earn fundraising credit and is perfect for selling to friends, family, and workplaces.
📅 Monthly Fundraising Opportunities
In addition to our ongoing fundraiser, we offer one organized fundraiser each month from September through May.
September – Restaurant Dining Night
Support a local restaurant while earning a percentage of sales back toward your dancer’s account.
October – Parents’ Night Out
A fun drop-off event at the studio with games, dancing, and activities for kids. All competition dancers who work the event will split the proceeds.
November – Competition Team T-Shirt Sponsorships
Families can secure local business sponsors or families to be featured on the back of our team shirts. 100% of proceeds go to the dancers account.
December – Restaurant Card Sales
Sell local restaurant discount cards—perfect for holiday gifts.
January – Movie Night
A relaxed and fun event hosted at the studio. All competition dancers who work the event will split the proceeds.
February – Candy Grams
Send sweet treats to friends and family for Valentine’s Day.
March – Restaurant Dining Night
Another opportunity to dine locally while supporting our team.
April – Parents’ Night Out
A spring-themed drop-off event at the studio. All competition dancers who work the event will split the proceeds.
May – Basket Raffle
A collection of themed raffle baskets with tickets sold leading up to a final drawing.
💳 How Fundraising Works
All funds raised are applied directly to your dancer’s account as a studio credit.

There is no limit to how much a dancer can earn through fundraising.
