First Week of Dance!
1. THIS WEEK AT NSD
Welcome to our first week of dance classes! We are soooo excited to see you and get moving with you! Just a reminder that the first few weeks there are bound to be hiccups, so please communicate with us if you have any questions or issues at all. There's also going to be tears and upset kids - dance can be new and intimidating, Bring them anyway! We will do our best to keep you informed on any changes, just remember we are also human 😊
2. 📅 IMPORTANT DATES & EVENTS
Coming Up:
Sept 14th -19th: First week of dance!
Sept 19th @ 8pm: Sass & Stilettos class for women 18+ (register on our website) $15
Sept 21st – 25th: Bring a friend to dance week! If they register, YOU BOTH get $50 credit on your account!
Oct 2nd: Monthly studio open hours from 4-6pm
Oct 3rd: Saturday strength & conditioning class with Ms. Cailee (ages 7-18)
Oct 3rd: Bella Noche Dinner & Dance 6pm
Oct 17th: Saturday stretch class with Ms. Cailee (ages 7 -18)
Oct 26h-30th: Wear your Halloween costume to dance class!
Nov 23rd-29th: No dance – Thanksgiving break
3. 💰 TUITION & ACCOUNT REMINDERS
Tuition will be billed to accounts today. We will run auto-pay tomorrow, any issues please reach out to us. It MAY be delayed today, as Studio Pro (our processor) changed how tuition is billed so I don't want to run it until I think its going to be close to correct.
Tuition is billed to accounts Sept- February. March 1st there is a $79 performance fee due per family which covers 2 tickets to the May recital, access to all photo day pictures, and recital recording.
4. 💃 SPECIAL CLASSES & OPPORTUNITIES
We have lots of new workshops and events planned for dancers! Check out our website for more info and to register. Most workshops are $15. https://www.nsd.dance/camps-workshops

💚 September Merch Pick
This month we're featuring our NEW “My favorite season is dance” line – including t-shirts and sweaters for youth and adults sizes! https://www.nsd.dance/store make sure you order by Sept 30th! (see image attached)
6. 🏠 AROUND THE STUDIO
A couple reminders about classes – make sure dancers are in dress code and ready to dance! They should be rested and fed before coming to class. Make sure to send your dancer with water! Need dancewear? Check out our website for things we reccomend on Amazon: https://www.nsd.dance/dancewear
- The front steps are almost done! We won’t be able to paint the posts until the spring.
- The front of the building is scheduled to be painted soon.
- Parents: there is a coffee/tea/snack bar for you in our lobby! Thank you for all you do.
- The student hang out upstairs is open for dancers in grades 4th grade and up. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE PICKING UP YOUR GARBAGE! Treat the studio like your second home <3
- Ms. Kaili will be our front desk manager this season. Please stop by and say hi!
7. ⭐ STAR SPOTLIGHT
I want to give a special shout out to Cyndi O. who helped us prepare for our open house over the summer – she is such a huge help around the studio, thank you for all you do!!! <3

We have no birthdays this week, so happy belated birthdays to Abigail B, Everly A, and Oakley B who celebrated birthdays last week!
